It wasn’t that difficult, was it? The options might overwhelm you at first if you are a new user, but once you have figured out how to do it, it becomes a piece of cake. There you go! You successfully learnt how to delete a page and restore it in GoodNotes. Now you can get back to that page and make any changes you want to.By doing this, you move the selected page or pages to the original document where it belonged. After selecting the page or pages, hit the ‘recover’ button placed among the options at the top of the page.Tap on it and select the required page or pages that you want to restore. On your right-hand top corner, there is the ‘select’ button.Once you have tapped on it, you will be directed to all the pages that have been deleted. The ‘settings’ option is shaped like a gear cogwheel. If you are having difficulty locating the option, look at the top right corner of the screen. You are documenting your work and, you accidentally delete your page, or you want to restore the page or pages you recently deleted. Hooray! You just successfully deleted your pages.Once you have clicked on ‘Trash’, hit ‘Done’ and then ‘Close’.Once you have selected the pages, search for the ‘Trash’ button among the options provided on the top and tap on it.Select the page or pages you wish to delete. The thumbnail view that just popped up has a ‘select’ button at the top right corner.

After you have selected the thumbnail view, your screen will show you a miniature picture of the pages you have worked on, along with page numbers. The option is on the top left corner of your screen (it looks like a square with small squares inside it). Go to your library and open the document you are working on.Important Note: I f you don't have a proper backup as shown above, GoodNotes team can't help retrieve the lost data for you as we don't store any copies of user notes on our servers due to privacy concerns. Please restore from that iCloud backup as soon as you can. If there is a "BACKUPS" list available, tap a backup to see whether it includes GoodNotes data. If you didn't set up iCloud sync within GoodNotes app, you can check whether you have a device backup via iCloud/iTunes and restore your device to the recent backup: open the Settings app > Apple ID > iCloud > Backup and see that "Last successful backup" shows a time earlier than this incident. For example, if you've been backing up data automatically to Dropbox, look in /Apps/GoodNotes 5/GoodNotes. If you had auto-backup enabled in GoodNotes Settings > Automatic Backup, you can look in that cloud storage for your notes and re-import them as needed: Importing files into GoodNotes 5. Your GoodNotes data from the previous iCloud sync session should start appearing in your library.Ģ. If GoodNotes 5 is listed there, you can go back to the app, open GoodNotes menu > Settings > iCloud Settings, and enable Use iCloud. Open iPad Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage. I have tried checking (even on advance settings) but there I couldn't find the Goodnotes data.

I have tried reinstalling the app but either the iCloud sync is not working or I have not taken a backup. and all the journals that I have been creating are gone. You can check whether you have GoodNotes data stored in iCloud: I have accidentally deleted the Good Notes app.
